General Contractor serving Phoenix, AZ since 1998

Ocotillo Construction was built on a simple belief: building a home should feel personal. Founded in Phoenix nearly 30 years ago, we are a family-owned company that has spent three decades earning trust one project at a time. From distinctive custom homes in Scottsdale and Paradise Valley to major whole-home renovations and select commercial builds across the Valley, our work travels because our reputation does.

Our founder saw a gap in the market early on. The homebuilding process was often cold, transactional, and disconnected from the people it was supposed to serve. Families were making one of the largest financial decisions of their lives, yet rarely felt heard. That had to change. Ocotillo Construction was created to put the client first — to slow down long enough to understand each family's vision and deliver a finished result that reflects their lifestyle, their land, and their budget.

We specialize in custom home building from the ground up. That means working with homeowners who want a home designed around their life, not a modified production layout. We also take on major renovations — the kind that transform how a home lives and feels, not just how it looks. And for select clients, we bring the same level of care to commercial construction and tenant improvement projects across the Phoenix metro.

What sets us apart is how we work, not just what we build. We use modern building techniques and materials suited for Arizona's climate — homes that manage heat, conserve energy, and hold their value in one of the country's most demanding environments. We communicate honestly at every stage. And we keep affordability in mind without cutting corners on quality.

We hold Arizona contractor license 163739-B1 for commercial work and license 163740-B for residential construction — credentials that reflect our commitment to doing things the right way, from permitting to final walkthrough.

After nearly 30 years, our goal has not changed. We want to build great relationships and even better places to call home. The families we serve across Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Paradise Valley are not just clients. They are the reason we show up every morning.
